A Matter of Relationship
This world is a giant, interactive incubator of creative activity that allows us to get the experiences our souls came for.
While we're not here alone, we exist within that system at the center of our own universes, trapped in egos built to see things their own ways.
But the path to peace is difficult to tread from that vantage point, because it can interfere with our efforts to love and be loved.
That's why our relationships are so important -- with ourselves, with others, and even with life itself and the Source of our being.
Through those relationships we are able to experience meaning, fulfillment, and the joy of being part of something greater than ourselves.
Just as importantly, those relationships offer us the opportunity to learn about ourselves, revealing things about us we might never otherwise see. The test for us is recognizing them, and then figuring out how we might best put them to use.
Doing so from a place of peace is the objective, and our lives are journeys through which we can learn to interact with the world around us in a way that expands all without diminishing any of it.
But when push comes to shove, that's usually the last thing on our minds.
Instead, we're left trying to weave our way through the complexities of human interaction, and the great sea of thoughts, moods, and emotions that mark our affairs and the turbulence that so often results.
Peace in our relations is possible only when we learn to see the factors at work beneath the surface so we can better manage our points of intersection, and take from them what was intended in the first place.
This is within your grasp. Will you seize it?
