Everything is falling apart. Our world is a mess. Even those who lead us aren't sure where they want to take us, or whether anyone will follow if they try.
Everywhere we turn we see the evidence. Our economic system is shaking at its foundations. Government is failing at even the simplest tasks. Making a living is anything but business as usual.
These are but a few of the symptoms resulting as our planet moves into alignment with the center of the universe, a process that is to be completed at the winter solstice in 2012, when the Mayans predicted time would end.

What's Ascension have to do with ME?
Q: I'm hearing some talk about Ascension and 2012. What's it got to do with me?
A: Ascension refers to a process by which the vibrational frequencies of the energies that subsist us and our world speed up to such a degree that we move into what is described as a 5th Dimensional existence, where duality ends and those who remain begin going about life in a new way.
It is described by some as the promised Golden Age, a time of great peace and prosperity for all. Love and cooperative effort are to be the order of the day (and necessary attributes to get there), not some distant aspiration reserved only for a few.
There is also our own personal Ascension, when we merge with our souls and then into our Higher Selves, ending our existence in this world and returning us to the state from which we came before our journey through 3D life commenced.

An Energetic Perspective
All matter is made of energy, even human beings. Energy vibrates as it moves. The measurement of these vibrations is called its frequency.
Our energies are not homogeneous. Rather, we are composite blends of the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual energies that make us what we are. Those energies can often interfere with the transmission of the inner voice.
As energetic beings, we vibrate at frequencies that reflect:
- The respective conditions of each of these energy fields;
- Their purity and harmonic (or disharmonic) interaction;
- Our evolutionary state;
- The reality created for us to experience, and the forces that blow through it;
- The focus within that reality to which our energy (attention, thought, emotion, and activity) is drawn.
How Ascension May Be Impacting Our Problems
I know PeaceOptions is not a place to discuss metaphysical or spiritual matters. However, I will make an exception this once because of its relationship to some of the issues going on in many lives.
While considering our greater existence and how our life experiences may fit into other aspects of our being, I have seen some possibilities that deserve further explanation.
At our core [in non-physical reality] is an entity, or higher self if you will, that projects aspects of itself down through the personality into these bodies and the egos by which we know ourselves.
These lives are not its only experience of physical existence; rather, that entity also projects itself into other bodies in other dimensions (times and places), some of which may not even be upon the earth. For that matter, it may also project itself into other non-physical realities as well, but that is something beyond my understanding for now.
